Spying on Kate Moss by Inez & Vinoodh

For the latest F/W 2010/11 Balmain campaign photoshoot photographers Inez & Vinoodh decided to set up 4 hidden cameras (without anyone knowing) to capture Kate Moss's unbridled performance on set. The result is Everglade this short film featuring half horror and half Disney animated illustrations by Jo Ratcliffe in collaboration with Bouwine Pool for Sherbet. The whole video is mixed with an awesome soundtrack of Antony and the Johnsons. Watch below.

Jonathan Zawada Conceptual Landscapes

While in LA last month we went to an opening at Prism Gallery for Australian artist Jonathan Zawada’s work. Though I have never been charmed by landscape art, Zawada’s vibrant colors and conceptual graphs that accompanied the paintings magnetized my attention. Looking more closely at the graphs and then back at the paintings I saw that this artist inspiration was born from a great amount of social study.
