The first time I heard Pigeon John get down on a record was way back in Jr High. At the time he still ran with hip hop collective crew LA Symphony and for the most part the music he was putting out would have been considered “Underground Hip Hop”. He left LA Symphony in pursuit of a solo career(...) Read More about Pigeon John : The Bomb (144 words)

Telegraph took us through the home of Jane Whitfield, Marc Jacobs right hand woman at Louis Vuitton for the past 12 years, in a village west of Versailles.  The house, which was last altered in the 1870s, is tall and stone-built, made from two houses joined together.

Blessed be the sneaky album demos that make their way online. After Marina & The Diamonds left us with her tasty debut album–The Family Jewels–to hold us over, many have been just gluttonous in wanting more because it proved to be so delectable . Her and her diamonds also left a very wanting American fan base when her scheduled US tour was canceled for the artist to focus on her writing spree. Lucky for us, that performance hiatus resulted in “Sex, Yeah,” (...) Read More about Marina & The Diamonds: Sex, Yeah (77 words)

CORINNE DAY
The late, great British photographer Corinne Day, who is famed for her raw and undisturbed fashion photography, features in our current exhibition To Bed. True to her established documentary style, both George in the Bath and Corinne at Home exemplify honest snapshots of human nature. A naked male asleep and immersed in water hangs beside a self-portrait of Corinne vulnerably laid out in her own unkempt bed. A moving and gritty insight into her world, these portraits present slumber as honest snapshots of pure exhaustion. [more]

READINGS, 2007

As the Paris A/W 2011 shows enter their final flurry in Paris we flash back to S/S 2008 to revisit Readings, a collaborative effort between pioneering fashion designer Hussein Chalayan, Nick Knight and Antony Hegarty, better known as the lead singer in Antony and the Johnsons. Taking place over two days in September 2007, Readings highlighted the dynamic between icons and their audience by asking SHOWstudio.com viewers to directly participate in the shaping of the musical accompaniment to the film. The resulting footage was then edited and screened as a showcase of Chalayan's Readings collection. Several collections have passed since its debut, but it remains a testament to the boundless talent of all involved.

Will John Galliano still design Kate Moss' Wedding Dress after racist allegations?

John Galliano Loves Hitler

British fashion designer, John Galliano has been fired by fashion house Dior after alleged anti-Semitic comments he made last week.

Apparently Dior dismissed him after seeing a video clip allegedly showing Galliano telling two women in a Paris cafe: "I love Hitler." Footage has also emerged online allegedly showing Galliano saying "People like you would be dead today - your mothers, your forefathers would be gassed."

Already Dior's chief executive Sidney Toledano and Oscar-winning actress and face of Miss Dior Cherie perfume, Natalie Portman have released statements condemning Galliano's actions.

When asked about the situation Natalie stated "In light of this video, and as an individual who is proud to be Jewish, I will not be associated with Mr Galliano in any way,"

So with the current news about Kate Moss wanting her friend Galliano to design her wedding dress all over the web we have to ask is this going to happen? We will have to wait and see if Kate "stands by her man"
